Featured Training Topics

10-Hour OSHA Course in Construction Industry
This is an in-depth OSHA certification course for the construction industry. FBE Safety Net recommends this course for field workers. Attendees will review the current OSHA standards in 29CFR 1926 and 29CFR 1910, which apply to the construction industry. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide. The attendees will be trained on the following topics; Introduction to OSHA, Hazard Communication, Personal Protective Equipment, Fire Protection & Prevention, Electrical Hazards, Tools- Hand & Power, Scaffolding, Floors/Wall Openings/Ladders, Fall Protection, and Excavations. Attendees will receive a certificate of completion from the US Department of Labor, OSHA.

30-Hour OSHA Course in Construction Industry
This is more extensive OSHA certification course for the construction industry. FBE Safety Net recommends this course for owners, managers, supervisors, foremen. Attendees will review the current OSHA standards in 29CFR 1926 and 29CFR 1910, which apply to the construction industry. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide. Attendees will receive a certificate of completion from the US Department of Labor, OSHA.

Safety Management for Supervisors
This course introduces attendees to management principles required for effective supervision of safety policies in the workplace including: employee training, job safety analysis, new employee training, and accident investigation.

Hazardous Waste Operations
This 40 hour course introduces employees who handle Hazardous Waste. HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations) provides basic knowledge and skills necessary to assist with various remedial operations surrounding a hazardous materials incident. This course utilizes a combination of classroom presentation and "hands on/simulated spill" field exercises. An 8-hour refresher course is also available.
